Located in the centre of town is the newly renovated Queanbeyan Park featuring an oval, fully fenced playground, water features, seasonal markets and events throughout the year, beautiful plantations and giant old trees that glow throughout autumn. It is the perfect picnic spot with the family and friends as well as a great place to take the kids to have a fun filled day.
Queanbeyan Park (Brad Haddin Oval) has an Australian Football field, turf Cricket pitch, 120 metre sprint track and 350 metre endurance track, all enclosed with lighting.
There have been upgrades to the playground recently completed. Out-dated play equipment and soft fall surface with new modern and accessible equipment and safety surfacing have been included.
