Star Lane Winery is a Beechworth Winery situated at the foot of the Victorian Alps in the Beechworth wine region. Star Lane Winery has an array of outstanding red wines made with traditional French methods and produces varietals such as Merlot, Shiraz, Sangiovese, Nebbiolo and also produces some stunning blends. All the wines in Star Lane Wineries portfolio are estate grown and hand crafted from vine to glass. Star Lane Winery has a picturesque cellar door and the winery and surrounding grounds offer stunning views over the vineyard and into the surrounding hills. Star Lane winery is open weekends and offers wine tasting and sales as well as picnic baskets that are filled with local cuisine. In addition to the wines that are made with traditional French methods, Star Lane Winery also produces a wine that has undergone a secondary fermentation in a Red Gum barrel. This world first wine is presented in a Red Gum timber box and not only does it look amazing but tastes fantastic. So come along and meet the winemaker Liz and her husband Brett who handles the viticulture element of the wine making and have a taste of their amazing wines and a picnic basket in the beautiful surrounds of the winery.
